After graduating with distinction from Edinburgh University in 1994 Marcus won a BVA scholarship to visit the Middle East to do a study on diseases of the indigenous livestock of Oman. Upon his return, Marcus joined Charter Vets. After an enjoyable 3 years, the travel bug hit again and Marcus ventured overseas through South East Asia to work and travel in Australia and New Zealand. Marcus rejoined the practice in 1999 and took over the running of the Biddulph Surgery from his former colleague and mentor John Clewlow. Marcus is particularly interested in small animal medicine and orthopaedics. At home, Marcus’s menagerie included fish, a tortoise, guinea pigs and a mischevious cat.
